In Icecat I can download add-ons in this website:

In Chromium I can download add-ons from the chrome web store:

e.g. Wayback Machine

How can I check if an add-on is proprietary software?

I would say try to find the source code.  If you can't find the source
code somewhere, then it's probably dirty, rotten, no good software.

There is an entry labelled “License” on the left side under “More
information”.  This particular add-on, for example, is not free software
as its license is “All Rights Reserved”.

Duden Mentor is proprietary software.

I found that wayback machine has a GNU licence.

Cambridge Dictionary and Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary have a: 
Mozilla Public License 2.0
Is that proprietäry software?

No, the MPL2.0 is a free software license.  You can also take a look at
the non-exhaustive list of free licenses in guix/licenses.scm.
