I was running:
$ sudo guix system reconfigure config.scm --fallback
but it has taken 12 hours on a Core2Duo with 2GB in RAM. So I tryed:
$ sudo -i guix pull
but it reports errors:
$ sudo -i guix pull

That's terrible. I'm not sure what this means, but I've seen similarly
confusing backtraces when backwards-incompatible ABI changes have
occurred. Maybe you can try removing ~root/.cache/guile/ccache and see
if the command works?

Ran:
sudo -E guix pull
and it worked. But if I run:
sudo -i guix system reconfigure config.scm --fallback
it complains that I am running an old version of Guix.

This looks like the issue described at <https://bugs.gnu.org/29238>.
What does “sudo guix pull --version” report?
I think you can work around it by installing a newer Guile-Git as root:
# guix package -i /gnu/store/…-guile-git…
where the /gnu/store file name above is that returned by ‘guix build
guile-git’ on a more recent Guix.

Yes. It does. Fixed it with help in #guix:
sudo bash --login
guix pull
guix system reconfigure /home/quiliro/config.scm
