Looks like the hash is incorrect, or that the tag was modified in place:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
HEAD is now at cd2d6f2 bump
r:sha256 hash mismatch for /gnu/store/gnmq1v528knpafibk9a1d4zxm7k1q8aa-emacs-mastodon-1.0.12-checkout:
  expected hash: 1rlp6jb3408wq915i0v6z5vlp6w5f8nq4hsyb10c0xv7s0f7cn4x
  actual hash:   1b2rhb18md2n2xg2d5ikl95m4h78x8l566970r5xc2y5p199b6hi
hash mismatch for store item '/gnu/store/gnmq1v528knpafibk9a1d4zxm7k1q8aa-emacs-mastodon-1.0.12-checkout'
build of /gnu/store/yrgcm0p0pxsxdb4disgb0xa5c1z1x4d8-emacs-mastodon-1.0.12-checkout.drv failed
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

Could you check what the expected hash is?

Thanks,
Ludo’.

Hi Ludo',

hm, i suspect the issue lies in the fact that i don't know what i'm doing!

i had another go just now, but i don't understand how to build the 1.0.12 version, or how to build packages from my git/development guix as opposed to my installed guix, which i understand i need to do in order to compute the hash.

(i can't really see if/where the docs address this either?)

i'll have to learn some more and get back to you, sorry.

i'll prob release a 13 v soon also.

best,
m
