I can't answer for Rudi, but it does IMO. Having to say "yes
I want to use LSP" in some way either via something called
"lsp-mode" or by using a peculiarly named package, is very
much appendix-like. A non-appendix view would be: "I want to
work on my Python, C++, Go program" and go do that, not
caring about what was going on underneath at all, LSP, treesitter,
CC-mode if-then-elses, you name it.
