Agreed, but adding support to the generic VC code for a feature that
can only exist in that one backend (and is not even very widely used by
users of this backend) is kind of problematic.
I think the closest functionality in current backends might be the
ability to tag revisions, so if we could somehow map VC's support for
tagging to this RCS quirk I'd be a lot more satisfied.
