I'm also curious about this, as I've started implementing EUDC support
for EBDB. On "my" side, I'm seeing `eudc-register-protocol', and a bunch
of calls to `eudc-protocol-set'. Shouldn't those thing be enough? If
EUDC provides a generalized framework, shouldn't the whole point be that
it doesn't need to know about its implementations?
