Intermixed date in koma-letter export

Let's say I have two letters:

  * Letter1
  ** Preamble :noexport:
  #+DATE: 2015-10-26 Monday
  ** To whom it may concern,

  * Letter2
  ** Preamble :noexport:
  #+DATE: 2015-12-03 Thursday
  ** Hi,

No matter whether I select letter1, or letter2, run `org-export-dispatch'
and choose to export koma-letter, I always get the date intermixed in the
export, i.e., "2015-10-26 Monday 2015-12-03 Thursday", instead of being
"2015-10-26 Monday" when exporting letter1, and "2015-12-03 Thursday" when
exporting letter2.

Please let me know if more information is needed.

Hi Rasmus,

Thanks for your help. However, adding the :EXPORT_DATE: property doesn't
work. Firstly, there's an error: "PDF file produced with errors.".
Secondly, even though it still produced a PDF output, the date is always
today's date which is wrong.

You have to add an address, e.g.

* letter 1

I cannot reproduce.  I get this as part of exporting the first subtree
(I click: C-c C-e C-s k L)

No, this still doesn't work. I just tested with my .emacs having only two
lines:

#+BEGIN_SRC emacs-lisp

"path/to/org-mode/contrib/lisp/ox-koma-letter"))

the org-mode version is from git commit "a198d81". M-x org-version gives:

I then copied the text from your email exactly as:

You don't need to select a subtree. Just put point in it. However, you
are missing the "C-s" in the keybindings, so you're not doing a subtree
export.

Thanks for telling me this, I didn't know before. What's interesting is
that it
works for "C-s" subtree export, but not for active region subtree export.
I'm
not sure if we should expect this to work for active region subtree export,
but
here's what's written in the Info file:

  > Normally the entire buffer is exported, but if there is an active region
  > only that part of the buffer will be exported.

Anyway, glad that I've got a solution!

Unfortunately, I've just noticed that the "C-s" subtree export also
exported the
heading (the "letter1" in my example), which is definitely unacceptable when
exporting a letter.

#+options: title:nil

Or replace "letter 1" with the actual title or subject of the letter (see
org-koma-letter-prefer-subject for the latter).

title:centered" for letter 1 but "#+options: title:nil" for letter 2,
letter 2's
setting will override letter 1's. I.e., letter 1 will have no title now.

Also, I was looking into ox-koma-letter.el trying to find some clue, but I
couldn't find where it handles the "title" option. The closest I've got was
`org-koma-letter-subject-format', which can be set with "#+OPTIONS
subject". But
it seems that the "subject" option works the same as the "title" option,
and has
exactly the same problem.

Probably in ox.el or ox-latex.el depending on what you have got in mind.

I don't understand this part.  The documentation of ox-koma-letter.el is
at the top of the file.  There’s also a tutorial on Worg.

I was actually aware of this INFO, but apparently I have ignored the
following
statement:

As well as the following:
