Feature Request: Number format on sum of property

Currently I'm using org-mode to manage my financial tables. The columnview is 
absolutely great on this:

However, you might notice that the float number is not correctly formatted.
May I have some magic cookie in COLUMNS format to specify it? Something like
 "%20balance(Book Balance){+}[%.2f]" ?

Hi Levin,

in principle a good idea, only I don't know why it is necessary in  
this case.
I guess you are just adding numbers here?  So I don't understand  
where the error
comes from.  Could you post a fully expanded outline
with all the properties visible?
