Package: notmuch-vim
Version: 0.7-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I'm getting started using notmuch-vim for the first time. Following
the advice from README.Debian, I run:

	vim-addons install notmuch

Then, following the advice from README:

	vim -c ':NotMuch'

I am presented with a list of tags. Looks promising.

	    24507 new (tag:inbox and tag:unread)
	    70711 inbox (tag:inbox)
	    24507 unread (tag:unread)

I hit <enter> to look at new mail. I see, on the status line:

	:call <SNR>3_NM_folders_show_search()

Many minutes later, while writing this report, I finally see the
search results. Conclusions:

 - there probably should be some progress indication, so the reader is
not confused into thinking there was a hang.

 - it shouldn't be so slow --- e.g., the mutt frontend for notmuch
seems to be faster. Any ideas for tracking this down?

Thanks for packaging notmuch so nicely.
Jonathan
