Emacs 29.1 will support tree-sitter. This mail-thread seems to
have been mislead by the wrong assumption that Emacs 30 will be
the first version to support tree-sitter.
Feel free to check "etc/NEWS" within branch "emacs-29" of Emacs'
repository and correct me if I'm wrong:
