I had to move a HD to a different slot because of hardware issues. This
causes the raid member that was /dev/sdb1 to become /dev/sdc1 ... and ...
guixSD won't boot :-(

Is there a way to work around this?

TIA - George

Not really I’m afraid.

The general recommendation is to *not* use /dev names and instead refer
to file systems by UUID or label. However, in the case or RAID, that’s
not possible ATM.
