I am trying to set up gitolite on a server. I have been able to set it
up with my ssh key, but it fails when I reboot the server. I test it
with `ssh git@ip-address help`. It does work again when I once again run
guix deploy. Has anyone had a similar problem?

I use Gitolite, and I don't think I've had this problem.
Assuming you're getting some SSH error, I'd perhaps check what's in
/var/lib/gitolite/.ssh/authorized_keys when it does and doesn't work.
