Hello Guix!
It appears "nss-certs" package is required in system profile for using "https" in guix. My suggestion is to add this package to "%base-packages". Any thoughts?

Should the nss-certs be trusted without user confirmation? Currently,
it is selected by default in the graphical installer, which I think is
better — it is the current default, but not the base one should build
on.
