Hi mentors,

Please submit your intern selections ASAP. Outreachy organizers need to
follow up with applicants who may have time commitment changes. We can
only do that once mentors have picked their interns.

April 17 is the deadline for intern selections. Outreachy organizers
will be following up with applicants about changed time commitments and
finalizing intern selections next week.

Some communities have more strong applicants than they have funding. In
that case, communities can ask for interns to be sponsored through the
Outreachy general fund.

Please note that we cannot make decisions about Outreachy general
funding request until we review requests across all communities. Please
submit your intern selections ASAP.

We will update communities with general funding decisions after Tuesday.

Again, the deadline for intern selection is Friday, April 17.
