It sounds very interesting to me, but sadly I’m not in a position to
judge what’s acceptable to land. Still I didn’t want to leave you
without an answer, because I am very happy to see you work on this!

And making life easier for lilypond is great!

From what I’ve seen, the maintainers (Ludo and Andy) have been under
pretty high load the last months, so that may explain why there was no
answer to your email from end of october.
