FYI,

Below is an excerpt of an issue that hit the Mac OSX port of opencog,
which uses guile.
Basically, (load-modules) doesn't work.  I don't understand the
details, but apparently
this is still an issue with the current guile code (I assume 1.8.x but
cannot confirm)

Hi Linas, belated following this up...

What looks to be an equivalent macport ticket exists here:

http://trac.macports.org/ticket/19913

Would be great if you could forward to guile-dev in case someone there
is familiar with macports.

I had a brief look at trying to add an rpath to guile compilation
(-Wl,rpath,xx), but it didn't seem to help. Some mention of it being a
libtldl issue instead (perhaps it needs to be given the rpath?)

Anyhow - don't have much time to follow this up myself, so hopefully
someone on the guile-dev list will know what to do.
