I use packages which call sit-for with three arguments:

(sit-for delay 0 'no-redisplay)

Since I updated to Emacs 30.0.5, these fail with:

key-chord-input-method: Wrong number of arguments: #<subr sit-for>, 3

Best wishes,
Arne Babenhauserheide

There is this NEWS entry:

| ** The obsolete calling convention of 'sit-for' has been removed.
| That convention was: '(sit-for SECONDS MILLISEC &optional NODISP)'.

So I'm afraid this is intentional and has to be fixed in those packages
you use.

Michael.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience this caused.

But since it was an intentional decision to do this I'm closing this
report.

Thanks,

Michael.
