hi,
i am wondering whether alpha-background is supposed to work on macOS. i am using Emacs 30.0.50 and have tried running:
(set-frame-parameter (selected-frame) 'alpha-background 50)
but the background remains fully opaque. am i missing something?

It's not implemented on Nextstep. As usual, patches are welcome.
