It just occurred to me that admin/make-tarball.txt doesn't mention
Emacs' AUTHORS file. As I understand it, this file needs to be
regenerated before a release. What about the following entry?

3. Regenerate Emacs' AUTHORS file (M-x load-file RET
lisp/emacs-lisp/authors.el RET, then M-x authors RET, then save
the *Authors* buffer). This may require fixing syntactically
    incorrect ChangeLog entries beforehand.

Hmm, I noticed that Miles added an arch tag to the AUTHORS file as
well. If the file gets regenerated, this tag will disappear. Is it
useful to have an arch tagline in automatically generated files? If
so, we should probably hack lisp/emacs-lisp/authors.el to create the
tag.

I may have done so by mistake -- in general I didn't add taglines to
generated files. In the cause of AUTHORS, I suppose it _is_ possible to
have the generator add the tagline back, but probably it's cleanest to
just remove it.

Ok, let's just do nothing and the next time the AUTHORS file is
regenerated, the tagline will disappear.
