Can anyone tell me where I can find the GPG keys with which Emacs distributions have been signed?

Eg from

ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gnu-keyring.gpg

(But does a key downloaded from the same server as the file that it
signs have any value?)

Or find them on your preferred key server, eg:

gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-key BC40251C

 gpg: requesting key BC40251C from hkp server pgp.mit.edu
 gpg: key BC40251C: public key "Chong Yidong <cyd AT stupidchicken.com>" imported

It doesn't matter where you download a PGP key.  All that matters are
its signatures and the web of trust they create.
