 Hello,

NEWS in the latest emacs distribution reads:

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
| *** tpu-edt.el, ws-mode.el
| These emulations of old editors are believed to be no longer relevant
| - contact emacs-devel@gnu.org if you disagree.
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a heavy tpu-edt.el user. TPU emulation was one of the main reasons I
started to use emacs more than 20 years ago.

 Please do not remove tpu-edt.el.

 Thanks,
 Miklós

Then we should move it to GNU ELPA, like we did for crisp-mode.

Given that there’s a brand new (and non-free) WordStar clone,
I tend to think that ws-mode.el is also to be saved.

Sounds good.

Oh, thanks, that's really appreciated,

I truly didn’t expect that from myself.

What kind of care would ws-mode.el require, anyway?

You literally outdid yourself, indeed.

Just moving it to elpa.git, basically.

Which, AIUI, means adjusting the comments and then just
	committing it there?

Adding a Version and yes, that's pretty much it,

        Stefan

Except that both happen to have one. I presume I’d have to bump
Version: instead should – there be any changes to the file on
	‘master’, and also remove Obsolete-since:?

If the two files are identical (codewise), then we should use the same
version number.
