The Buildbot has detected a new failure on builder xemacs21.4-linux while building Gnus.
Full details are available at:
 http://randomsample.de/gnus-buildbot/builders/xemacs21.4-linux/builds/896

Buildbot URL: http://randomsample.de/gnus-buildbot/

Buildslave for this Build: debian

Build Reason: scheduler
Build Source Stamp: [branch master] 6e329e00f1a7d978e5bde8976d722de5b319b452
Blamelist: Emacs developers <emacs-devel@gnu.org>

BUILD FAILED: failed compile

Please note:

 - The Buildbot uses 'make fail-on-warn', hence warnings are reported as errors.
 - If you are receiving this mail personally, it is because you are on the
'Blamelist' for a newly failed build, meaning you've pushed a commit since the last build.
 - If this build fails again, it will only be reported on the Gnus-buildbot mailing list,
which you can read on Gmane (gmane.emacs.gnus.buildbot), or you can subscribe
it by sending a mail to gnus-buildbot-request@gnus.org.

sincerely,
 -The Buildbot

Katsumi, while I think it is fine to credit Emacs developers for
changes, could you please not use the emacs-devel mail address? Just
append the ".invalid" suffix so that those messages don't get
routed. Otherwise, I'm afraid my domain will get flagged sooner or
later...

Thanks,
David

Oops, I wondered why buildbot mails don't come to me. ;-p Sorry
for scattering the noises. I'll add ".invalid" or try an invalid
address from now on. Thanks for the advice.

Because Gnus has to be maintained so as to work with various
versions of Emacsen, including XEmacsen. The parent message of
this thread was sent by the buildbot[1]. It tries building Gnus
on many Emacsen whenever any changes are made in Gnus, and sends
a report to the author if errors are detected. Why the author
was emacs-devel in this case is: I used it when merging the
changes made in the Emacs trunk to the Gnus Git master because
there were two or more authors (maybe Git doesn't allow many
persons for the --author option). I'll use the real author as
ever if it is only one, but as for the many users case I'll use
another one that is at least not emacs-devel.
