A lot of users are asking for the tarballs of Emacs 21.3, which are
not available from ftp.gnu.org at the moment (due to the crack).

Francesco, do you have the original tarballs laying around somewhere?
If so, maybe you could put them on the ftp server again?

If not, shall we just build new tarballs by checking out 21.3 from
CVS?

  Lute.

Sure.

I'll do that immediately, if I don't find any problems accessing the gnu
machines. I was not aware of this problem. I'l let you know when I'm
finished.

Okay, I have found the first problem :-)

I am guilty of not reading carefully the announcement that was sent on
22 August by Bradley Kuhn, so I am amending here, I hope.

Here are the md5sums of the missing files:

2ef503974b45bfca315fc081241853e1 emacs-21.2-21.3.xdelta
a0bab457cbf5b4f8eb99d1d0a3ada420 emacs-21.3.tar.gz
73e0e2572e0e0ae0fc730aaea34c9e11 leim-21.2-21.3.xdelta
1c968c37e22be0f0d8f8cd57cebe5a5e leim-21.3.tar.gz
sorry, I do not have this one leim-21.1-21.2.xdelta

The files are under ftp://fly.cnuce.cnr.it/pub/tmp/

I cannot see alpha.gnu.org, so I cannot login there to upload the files
myself.

Also, if I try to login on fencepost.gnu.org, I see that the host key
has changed, so i won't login until someone sends me a signed message
containing the new host key. Please do.
