Can you reproduce these steps?
1. hb-view /usr/share/fonts/noto/NotoSansKaithi-Regular.ttf
--output-file=hb-view.png (Press Enter)
2, Then type: ०१२३४५६७८९ (Press Enter)
3. Then type: ०१२३४५६७८९ (Press Enter)
4. Press Ctrl-D
This should produce the output as needed.
