Thanks Michael. The patch clears the hang.

Here's one more hang. It happens on both Linux and Apple over SSH. (I
SSH into most of my machines).

  --batch --eval '(ert-run-tests-batch-and-exit (quote (not (or (tag
:expensive-test) (tag :unstable)))))' > src/keyboard-tests.log 2>&1 ||
{ STAT=$?; cat src/keyboard-tests.log; exit $STAT; }
