Hi folks,

is there a date or a time-frame for the release of the next pretest?

Thanks,

Say approximately 3 weeks after the last one, so ~ Jan 5.
I don't think it will be any earlier that that, could well be later (by
~ 1 week) since things tend to be slow over Christmas/New Year.

(I'll be making the next one.)

Okay, thanks a lot.

Does this mean you will replace Chong as a maintainer as of now?
(I haven't seen any reply to Chong call for a new maintainer.)

No, just doing a "release management" kind of role.

No one stepped up as co-maintainer. So here's the current plan: Stefan
will be "the" Emacs maintainer, but we are going to split up some of the
responsibilities, making more people responsible for (and having
authority to make decisions on) different parts of Emacs development.
As the first step in this process, Glenn will be our release manager
(thanks, Glenn).

Sounds good, thanks for the info.

If there is anything I can do on top of Org, let me know.
