Version 3.1.2 of package Gnugo has just been released in GNU ELPA.
You can now find it in M-x list-packages RET.

Gnugo describes itself as:

## Summary:

  This directory contains gnugo.el and other files.
  These work w/ GNU Go:

   https://www.gnu.org/software/gnugo

  and any other program that speaks the Go Text Protocol.
