* Indentation in man/*.texi files

It seems that the convention in man/*.texi is to indent the first
line of each paragraph by two spaces.

  When I do this, then I see a strange effect.  I think that I have
  changed no settings.

Second line of paragraph is also indented, but shouldn't be.

(Gnus' message mode exhibits the same behavior.)

WIBNI Emacs would do the right thing automatically?
