When I try to build the CVS version of emacs I get the following error :
horacio:~/emacs/man$ makeinfo emacs.texi
emacs.texi:10: Unknown command `copying'.
emacs.texi:31: Unmatched `@end'.
makeinfo: Removing output file `../info/emacs' due to errors; use
--force to preserve.
horacio:~/emacs/man$

It happens when triying to 'make boostrap' operation...

Am I doing something wrong ?

Tanks in advance

You need a recent version of texinfo. I forgot the minimum version
number you need, but you can just download the most recent one.

Sincerely,

Luc.

Actually, you need version 4.2 or later.

Sincerely,

Luc.

Emacs from CVS needs Texinfo 4.3, for the @copying command.
