False alarm. I managed to get the trunk to build on Win32.
I notice that rev. 103303 already had the problem and 103291 didn't. So,
the commit 103292 is most likely the source of the problem.
I can't get the revision 103292 to compile. It gave an error
xdisp.c: In function 'decode_mode_spec':
