was reported earlier:

This is probably because regex is an imported package, it physically
resides in a different repository, and that repository has not been
restored yet by Savannah salvage team.

One idea is to write to savannah-hackers@bogus.example.com and alert
    them to this problem.

Did anybody ever actually do the latter?

Sincerely,

Luc.

My original CC to that email address (expectedly) did not work.
Anyway, I forwarded the original message.

Sincerely,

Luc.

I should have checked the follow-ups to the previous thread. The
problem with regex.h was indeed reported nearly two weeks ago.

Sincerely,

Luc.
