I can confirm now that this bug continues to exist.

The buffer test.sql contains more than 1500 lines of this:

select 1
from dual
union
...
select 1
from dual
;

When I send this to my SQLi buffer where the process is running, Emacs
hangs until I kill the process from outside.  This is GNU Emacs 21.2.1
(i386-msvc-nt5.0.2195) of 2002-03-19 on buffy
