Please write in English if possible, because the Emacs maintainers
usually do not have translators to read other languages for them.

Your bug report will be posted to the emacs-pretest-bug@gnu.org mailing list.

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

Assuming that FOO is an mbox-format file:

  emacs -Q
C-u M-x rmail RET FOO RET

outside Emacs, type "touch FOO" to modify the file FOO behind Emacs's
back. Back inside Emacs, type "C-u M-x rmail RET FOO RET" again.
Emacs asks whether to discard edits: answer "yes". Emacs will say "No
mail." (why?) and you will be presented with the contents of the
buffer that holds the entire message collection, not the buffer
showing a single mail message.

If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
    `bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
If you would like to further debug the crash, please read the file
d:/gnu/emacs/etc/DEBUG for instructions.

I think this is fixed now (rmail - when in doubt: swap buffers).
Please give it a try (also M-x revert-buffer).

Could you also check the rmail-enable-multibyte and
coding-system-for-read handling in rmail-revert? I think it may need
updating to follow changes in M-x rmail. Thanks.

I think this is fixed now (rmail - when in doubt: swap buffers).
Please give it a try (also M-x revert-buffer).

Confirmed.

Running this scenario:

#\x0f(eepitch-shell)
touch ~/tmp/foo.mbox
#\x0f
;; (empty rmail file)
C-u M-x rmail RET ~/tmp/foo.mbox RET
#\x0f(eepitch-shell)
## Doing this automatically reverted rmail buffer
cat ~/var/queue/mail-out-1 > ~/tmp/foo.mbox
#\x0f(eepitch-kill)

Sorry, I didn't yet have time to retest. If you can wait a few more
days, I will get to that soon. Or you can close the bug, and I will
reopen if needed.

They look fine to me. Thanks.
