Dunno whether this is useful.  I still get crashes within a minute or so
of startup (using my setup).  (This one came after doing just `C-h f
cl-letf RET'.)

What would it take for you to download GDB and run Emacs under it?

There's no other way we could ever solve these problems, so if you
really care, PLEASE run under GDB.  And if you don't care, please just
stop reporting these crashes.

Drew, can you please try the GDB (or other debugger)?  I would really like to
get to the bottom of these crashes.

So would I, but I spent quite a while trying to use GDB the last
time I tried - to no avail.  I just don't have the time now to
try again.

If you can point me to some simple instructions then I will give
it another try when I get some time.

I've closed this and four other similar bug reports from this period,
since there seems to be little possibility of moving forward.
