Currently `elp-results' shows the generated table in fundamental-mode.

This routinely results in the following scenario:
1) I finish looking at the results, press `q'.
2) It inserts the character in the buffer, I compulsively call `undo'.
3) Only then I press `C-x k'.

Expected behavior: `q' should bury it.

Obviously, it should use some special-mode derivative.
Maybe even a tabular-list-mode derivative.

This should now be fixed in Emacs 28.
