Enhancement request -
Would it be possible to have Imenu treat defalias as a function
definition (like defun, defun*, defmacro, etc.)?
I'm guessing that it might be a little tricky since the first arg is
evaluated (it is typically a quoted symbol). But if feasible it would
be helpful.
In GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
of 2011-01-17 on 3249CTO
Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600
configured using `configure --with-gcc (4.4) --no-opt --cflags
-Ic:/imagesupport/include'

I've now added this to Emacs 29 (along with
define-obsolete-function-alias).
