Hi,
I read GNU Emacs Manual and found the section Entering passwords says
"every character you type is displayed as a dot (@samp{.})”.
After Emacs 27.1 read-passwd uses ‘*’ so I think this needs update.

FYI commit b3f7e73 updated doc/lispref/minibuf.texi but didn’t update doc/emacs/mini.texi.
