Guys, I just downloaded what I thought was the latest emacs binary release
for windows. When I unzipped it the /bin dir in the install was empty. In
fact I didn't see any exe files in the entire exploded dir. I downloaded
what looked the previous minor release and that at least appears to have
something in the /bin dir.
I'm not going to provide any more details, but that ftp folder is more than
a little confusing. Lets hope the new download works.

What file did you download, from what site, and what led you to believe
(perhaps incorrectly) that it was a binary release of Emacs for windows?

Why won't you provide more details? Your report is unlikely to lead to
improvements without them, as it is too vague.
