maint.
when i am clocking something, when i clock out, it says byte-code:
Clock start time is gone.
the only way i have found to deal with it is to cancel. messages says:
Clock gone, cancel the timer anyway.
Clock canceled
No active clock.
then i have to start the clock again. it offers me a lot of options.
i choose K.
but contrary to the docstring, the clock is still running. so i have
to clock out.
but that leaves a zero-length clock entry, so i have to kill it.
maybe this is pebcak, but if so, i don't know where within that conduit.
i'm kind of amazed that heavy clockers haven't been all over these
issues on the list before. is it just me?
thanks.
samuel

Maybe just you? What version of org are you using? How are you
clocking out?
I use clocking a lot and my only problems are due to my errors, not
org's!

How are you installing the maint version of org? Elpa?
Maybe have a look at some of the org-clock- related settings? I have
not experienced anything at all like what you describe so cannot help
any further really.
Sorry.

git maint.
i think the clock start time is gone bug is known, but it happens even
when i don't make any changes that could change clocking marks.
perhaps it gets triggered by magit revert, but even there i think it
happens without it.
i'm surprised the K keeps clocking but is not reproducible.

i got it to occur by sorting a different tree later in the file. it
occurs even after undo.
