You can use git rebase -i to rewrite the commit with your private URL
(maybe to a configuration variable value instead) and then push the
result.

Something like this:

   git rebase -i <Commit SHA to fix>^
   <edit file to fix it up>
   git add <file>
   git rebase --continue
