You are lobbying for two things:

1. An improvement in existing citation syntax.
2. Citation support for ODT backend.

If you need help with ODT/JabRef integration, I am willing to lend a
hand.  (Only thing is) I would expect that someone hand-hold me wrt
what one wants in the final exporter on a case-by-case basis.  I would
rather build bottom-up, rather than top-down.
