It's a bit unwieldy, but it will do in a pinch. I'm not sure how this compares with pandoc. I'd really like to be able to set things like doctype, etc. automatically, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that in the org file so that it would survive getting passed through texi into docbook xml (or pandoc, for that matter).
