How to search for all mail in the trash folder

How to search for all mail in the trash folder

Hi all,

I'm having trouble searching for mail in the trash directory. Only some
mail appears to be returned by notmuch search. Tried also rebuilding
notmuch index, after which no mail were found. Searching other dirs
works as expected - all the mail is returned. Note the mail in trash hasn't
been tagged with 'deleted' nor 'spam', but just in case tried explicitly
searching for those tags as well.

    notmuch search folder:work/Trash '*'

notmuch-config:

path=/home/laur/mail

name=laur
primary_email=laur@gmail.com

tags=new;cal;
ignore=Trash;trash;junk;Junk;Spam;spam;

[search]
exclude_tags=deleted;spam;

That looks suspicious. If you're ignore Trash that explains why no
messages were found after re-index.
