I don't really have any good ideas on how to debug your issues. There are known (apparently unfixable) memory management issues with the old python bindings, it is possible that your issues are related to that. You should probably consider migrating any python scripts to the new bindings (the module is called notmuch2). We have deprecated the "notmuch" module, and will drop it completely at some point. d
