I think that's totally reasonable. > On my machine all of the programs (except nottoomuch ;) ) that use > ~/.config are gui based, and a bunch of them store binary blobs (or not > plain text anyway) there. It might be irrational, but I don't really > want notmuch to be associated with that crowd ;). It's not all gui applications. I see multiple non-gui apps storing their config in there. I would personally love it if everything respected that standard. It would clear up my home directory significantly. jamie. --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJO8jUJAAoJEO00zqvie6q85kQP/100x+QLpOgFRjDm3vWj91Vp jkuQD8xrwYYap024/NRL8Ejj84537rBSqVS8EO+eylZ3FziquPN/JY/19hNM+cPr +m3ecQrc9GPdpxlDQo2ct50p7J2KRYps+WcdfL5poIk1MW3bHvw7vqMgtQF1laQ+ kM8jsWqweyER582Rla4Re+3EpOKdXYeWOc+4YBq0TdwWvhhxi91EtoPfouBDz6Uj 5zLM6FC4nhmSY/1A70JgRNih4Bwj3Zaz4VNqZfzLObunldV6zP3+0bFXpiHV1343 NPB8BL0q5CbGAOCtpB+S8L3AkpnzFyvwNN+/U5VkKD0yOUj1lq0NJbv/mXf1DUdT nGLXKJhGDZyPNlnfG+yWJrs/ijzMYNgbD8uDOPMI9UMi4ph1/77JwI17timhbRg9 ubk0evv3mG+MyWTkAw5gIehOxUwsIQhGR7ibWkyczUwIeXLB1+eV9LdqHTuavtTz coj+DAqs8rkC1ud7sJms12TT1dOq0f15sNsM8gKnCAwcVYr4+pFurMdv3q4jtykc sRkzl49jEEIOiYmb5pg35kIeGW3mXCPmf1LAvgl4BpOHNovHAWbxQHCv93oCDzWm d73kpPGa617IxKprbeVYqMHr1hktdVNTH6pqnzp3qn2v2Tlr+1OXh6DLsFPyWsic bJ6SpqxFnpLHAXckZw8u =AuyY -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
