This will allow dropping the custom maintainer scripts [1]. It will also make the debian version of notmuch-emacs show up in M-x package-list-packages, and allow us to use the package.el facilities to e.g. generate autoloads files (if desired). As a side effect, I will add packaging metadata for package.el (notmuch-pkg.el, with version in it). dh-elpa is available in jessie-backports, and in ubuntu 16.04 and later. It should also be easy to install from source in other derivatives; if not please let us know at debian-emacsen@lists.debian.org d [1]: and also close https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=843287 --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQGcBAEBCAAGBQJYHzyVAAoJEPIClx2kp54sJPwMAI4J7Gr3qRuLlDz4eCo1YznS RLtBj8p9e7RB7jDmseBOogFIgbwKxW+Bf9pWzCL/8UFG8kEt+8Dxme2o2dlqINVJ uG9P/eqpbMwTAwDy2blezRd7kN6eE+Yd/68embBkK6ly7iZ7DU5x8xie/A+vDR6q c/aIo4UduFCbkWWHADIiiuVQA91L24NkGpR5BE7UpKyZDPMg7ii3pGdmzWjT9XBi Fl5IWRBv+6N4y66c09bTE8hwvc+2IjaYnm22hW3HFrt+DyYlZ6ggD/ghnhDjYFFH NfZsQz3X1o0DFcNkczwA8cT6A/p8pQhDnLDCk1WTYHEq9J6KR/2CWcqKjLHbwJku 09mGlh9QeNy0pgTRCgonLkn8I6gEAQbXoxRaKATcmgzvnzkbUHehiURrpnyNUN4U 0gwRnqwTAMNsFJ7heKECtdz5SgIz4LeavzH8g04l1svfJvuSC+BFnhpRQ9/5s5A0 e577JP78EA+DKDTSR890klyz/KGj70vPfORZd8mP4w== =CceW -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
