I receive message from a friend with
Friends Name <friendsname@hotmail.com>
If I hit F8 and search for "Friends", all messages received before May,
27 are showed in the list.
But, if I search for "friendsname", all message from today are showed!
This is a bug? Or a missconfiguration?
I use Debian, Mutt, Offlineimap, msmtp and notmuch-mutt.

Can you see if you can duplicate your problem using only the command
line "notmuch" utility, and if so, if it persists in the latest release
version of notmuch (notmuch 0.18.1, just uploaded to Debian unstable).

Yes! It persists. Please, could you see the apt-get output below?
# apt-get -t unstable install notmuch
notmuch is already the newest version.
# apt-get -t unstable install notmuch-mutt
notmuch-mutt is already the newest version
$ notmuch --version

$ apt-cache policy notmuch

You'll have to wait a bit before 0.18.1 propagates to the Debian
mirrors.

OK, please tell us exactly what notmuch commands you typed in the shell,
what output you expected, and what you got. If you can show us the
actual output (anonymized if you like), that would be best.

OK! I found the problem!
If I use:
$ notmuch search inae
I don't got what I expect.
but, if I use:
$ notmuch search inaê
I got what I expect.
I think that there was introduced a bug in the new release. I remember
that I was able to search inae or inaê and got the same results in the
previous release.
