Hi David,
I run these line codes
$ notmuch dump --output=~/out.nm
$ mv ~/Mail/.notmuch ~/.notmuch.bak
$ notmuch new
$ notmuch tag -inbox -unread '*'
$ notmuch restore --accumulate --input=~/out.nm
from page http://notmuchmail.org/howto/#index6h2
and, after some complains, it get to run very well now!
