Is anybody able to donate them to cfarm? Or are they really so rare that they're not going to be significant E-waste problem? (I doubt it's the case with ARM or even PPC). There's plenty of 32-bit x86 out there (and I'll use it as long as Debian or NetBSD supports it). I thought 32-bit ARM was widespread, but there might be too much fragmentation in the ARM world to support them for long :< And wasn't 32-bit PPC a big-ish thing for a bit?
