This is intended as a test and first post to this public inbox :)
Hoping I setup everything right and this message works without
a hitch...

Summary of what I did to add this list:

cd ~/pub # whereever the local user keeps public-inbox git repos
git init --bare io-extra.git

cd io-extra.git
# public-inbox shares description/cloneurl with gitweb
echo 'io-extra RubyGem discussion' > description
echo 'git://public-inbox.org/io-extra.git' > cloneurl

# enable delivery:
cat >> ~/.public-inbox/config <<EOF
[publicinbox "io-extra"]
	address = io-extra@public-inbox.org
	mainrepo = /home/pi/pub/io-extra.git
	url = http://public-inbox.org/io-extra.git
EOF

# added io-extra@public-inbox.org to my Postfix virtual maps
# this is a bit specific to whatever MTA setup is used


Anybody should now be able to post to io-extra@public-inbox.org
